I'm Cat, I’m a mum to three incredible little humans, a lover of light and connection, and someone who’s always been drawn to creative storytelling. My love for photography began in childhood - mesmerised by Anne Geddes’ whimsical imagery and inspired by a family member, whose profession was photographing the All Blacks in action. But it wasn’t until I became a mother that my passion truely ignited. I found myself wanting to freeze every fleeting moment, and that’s when I made the decision to turn this love into something more.
In 2019, I made a New Year's resolution to truly learn the art of photography and I haven’t looked back. I completed my Diploma in Photography in 2022, and I’ve spent countless hours learning, growing, and pouring my heart into this craft.

When you book with me, you’re not just getting photos - you’re getting a personalised, heartfelt experience. Photoshoots can sometimes feel a little daunting, but don’t worry - you don’t need to stress about what to do, how to pose, or how your kids might behave. I’ll guide you gently through the process and take care of the rest, so you can relax and enjoy your time.
I’ve often been told I have a gift for helping people feel calm and at ease - even the most camera-shy clients leave saying how fun and effortless it all felt.
